Education
In 2003, Mr. Witherell graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Professional Aeronautics with minors in Aviation Safety and Business Administration from Embrey-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona, Florida. In 1998, Mr. Witherell graduated with an Associate of Science in Aviation Science from Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Experience
Carlyle Witherell currently has logged more than 2,750 hours in the capacity of pilot with an additional 2,800 hours in the capacity of co-pilot/aerial photographer. He joined ADS in 1998 and has been flying for the firm for approximately 13 years. Mr. Witherell has successfully flown numerous nationwide photo projects for the private sector and several governmental agencies, including various districts of the Texas Department of Transportation, Oklahoma Department of Transportation, Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and the National Park Service.
Projects that Mr. Witherell has worked include: obtaining corridor photography for roadway alignments, pipelines, fiber optics, and engineering studies, as well as, obtaining mapping photography for numerous governmental agencies and private firms. He has extensive experience in aerial photography mission planning along with airborne GPS (ABGPS) and inertial measuring unit (IMU) data collection procedures. Mr. Witherell contributed significantly to the research and development of ADS's ABGPS and IMU data collection technology and LiDAR system setup.
