Certified Photogrammetrist; Member of the American Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing, the Oklahoma Chapter of the American Public Works Association, the Oklahoma Society of Land Surveyors, and the Texas Society of Land Surveyors
The owner and president of Aerial Data Service, Jean Carter joined the firm in 1974. Five years later, she became an officer of the company, and in 1984, she became the sole stockholder. One of only a handful of women certified as a photogrammetrist by the American Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS), Carter is a leader in the Tulsa community, as well as in the field of photogrammetry.
In 1991, Carter was named "Business Woman of the Year" by the Tulsa Chamber of Commerce. In 1994, she was selected as "Oklahoma Small Business Person of the Year" for her innovative management style and potential for long-term business growth. Carter has also served on the boards of the Oklahoma State Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Metropolitan Tulsa Chamber of Commerce, the American Public Works Association (APWA), the Management Association for Private Photogrammetric Surveyors (MAPPS) and the Tulsa YMCA.
