To create City Models, ADS uses specialized software to create a wireframe of existing structures. Digital imagery, in the form of orthophotos, is then draped over this wireframe, creating a 3D environment. Even greater detail is achieved by applying textures to the sides of structures. These textures are created from additional digital imagery. Each entity within this environment can also be linked to a GIS database, allowing the viewer to access a wealth of meaningful information.

3D City Models enable a better, more complete understanding of the phsyical world with just a click of the mouse in a virtual one.
